Important Regulatory Notice

The Canadian Conservatory of Dance Arts is a registered non-profit organization currently under review for registration as a Private Vocational Institution (PVI).

Please note that the admission requirements and academic programming outlined below represent our proposed curriculum. These details are subject to change based on the final approval of the regulatory body. Consequently, we are not currently accepting formal applications or tuition. Interested candidates are invited to submit a Pre-Application Profile to join our interest list.

Proposed Program Guidelines & Pre-Application Profile

The following information is intended to help prospective students understand the standards and preparation required for our proposed programming.

Anticipated Core Admission Criteria

To be considered for future enrolment, candidates will be required to meet these anticipated core standards.

• Expression of Interest Profile: Submission of a complete Pre-Application Profile to help us gauge your suitability and keep you informed.

• Proposed Audition Guidelines: Candidates should review the Proposed Audition Overview & Guidelines document to understand the technical expectations and preparation required for the assessment.

• Anticipated Academic Standard: Completion of Manitoba Grade 12 or a provincial/international equivalent. Note: Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.

• Talent Assessment: Completion of a comprehensive two-day talent assessment weekend.

• References: We recommend preparing two (2) professional references for submission at the appropriate time.

Talent Assessment Overview & Anticipated Timeline

The talent assessment is designed to evaluate a candidate's technical ability, adaptability, and professional potential across multiple disciplines.

• Assessment Format: The assessment process is anticipated to span two days. Day 1 will serve as the primary technical evaluation. Day 2 will focus on interviews and individual presentations for short-listed candidates.

• Anticipated Assessment Dates: We do not have firm assessment dates at this time. We anticipate that assessments will be hosted in Early Spring 2026 or shortly following the issuance of our PVI registration. Please join our Interest List for official scheduling announcements.
